Gunung Yong Yap - 2167 meter ~ 7,110 ft
Gunung ini mempunyai tarikan tersendiri terutama pada permandangan di puncak, laluan yang cantik, dan jalan masuk yang melalui perkampungan orang asli. terdapat 2 jalan masuk ke gunung ini iaitu A-dari Kampung Kuala Mu di Sungai Siput, Perak dan B-dari Pos Brooke Sungai Rengil, Cameron Highlands, Pahang. Laluan masuk bagi kedua duanya memerlukan kenderaan pacuan 4 roda, terutama bagi laluan A yang mengambil masa selama 2 ke 3 jam melalui jalan tidak berturap dan berlumpur. Musim bunga adalah waktu paling sesuai untuk mendaki gunung ini kerana terdapat pelbagai jenis bunga akan mekar serentak namun awas dengan serangga seperti lebah turut banyak ketika itu. Permandangan matahari terbit adalah panorama paling indah dari puncak gunung ini.
This mountain has its own attractions, especially in view at the top, the path is beautiful, and the way in which the indigenous settlements. there are two access roads to this mountain, A-from Kuala Mu, Sungai Siput, Perak and B-from Pos Brooke Rengil River, Cameron Highlands, Pahang. Entrance to both require 4-wheel drive, especially for the route A where it takes 2 to 3 hours by road because it is not paved and muddy. Spring are best times to climb this mountain because there are many types of flowers will bloom at the same time but beware of insects such as bees are a lot back then. Sunrise view is the most beautiful panorama from the summit.

From Kuala Lumpur to Kampung Lasah, Sungai Siput about 3 hours, then Transport ( 4WD ) will take us to Kuala Mu at the first day :-

Kampung Lasah - Kuala Mu - Kem 14 - Kem Sungai Cinak
DAY 02
Kem Sungai Cinak - Kem Pondok - Last Waterpoint - Puncak Yong Yap
DAY 03
Puncak Yong Yap - Kem Sungai Cinak - Kuala Mu - Kampung Lasah
B - YONG YAP Via. Pos Brooke :
From Kuala Lumpur to Balai Polis Lojing, Cameron Highlands about 5 hours, then Transport ( 4WD ) will take us to Pos Brooke at the first day :-

Kem Agas - Puncak Yong Yap - Kem Agas
